K-Display provides sheet metal fabrication for material handling operators, systems integrators, and equipment makers. We fabricate the guards, chutes, racks, bins, carts, workstations, and dock parts that move and store product in a warehouse, plant, or distribution center, built to your layout.
How we contribute
Material handling systems are assembled from purchased conveyor, rack, and lift equipment plus the fabricated metal that makes them fit a building and a product. The guard along a conveyor run, the chute between two levels, the rack shaped to one part, the cart that feeds a line, and the packing bench at the end are drawn for the site. That is the metal we make.
K-Display fabricates those parts from your drawings or your integrator's layout: cutting, forming, welding, powder coating, installed hardware, casters and handles, and assembly to a welded or knock-down state. Equipment selection, controls, and installation stay with the operator or the integrator.
What we make for material handling
Typical parts we fabricate to an operator's, integrator's, or OEM's print.
- Conveyor guards, side covers, and brackets
- Guard panels, drive and side covers, and mounting brackets cut to the conveyor section lengths and bolt patterns in your layout, ordered per run.
- Chutes, slides, and diverter parts
- Formed chutes and transfer slides with smooth product-contact surfaces and deburred edges, shaped to the drop and the package size.
- Parts racks and shelving
- Frames, shelves, and dividers built around one part or one tote size, for line-side storage, staging, and kitting.
- Bins, totes, and dunnage
- Formed metal containers with dividers and stacking features sized to the part and to the shelf or cart they ride on.
- Carts and dollies
- Welded cart frames with decks, shelves, handles, and caster plates for the payload and the aisle width you run.
- Packing and picking workstations
- Bench frames, metal tops, shelves, and monitor and scanner mounts arranged to the operator's task and the tote flow.
- Dock equipment covers and brackets
- Covers, backing plates, and brackets for dock levelers, restraints, and door operators, made for the dock equipment OEM or the site.
What material handling jobs require
These are inputs you specify. We build to them.
- Loads stated per shelf, deck, and support
- Racks, carts, and workstations carry stated loads. Send the per-shelf and per-caster loads and the approved structural design; we fabricate to that design and its acceptance criteria.
- Product-contact surfaces that do not damage goods
- Chutes, slides, and bin interiors touch packages. Mark the contact faces so edges are deburred, welds are dressed, and the finish is continuous where product slides.
- Guarding that follows the conveyor standard you use
- Conveyor OEMs and integrators design guards to CEMA unit-handling standards and OSHA machine guarding. Give us the guard heights, openings, and fastening from that design.
- Finish for a working floor
- Powder coat in safety yellow, OSHA orange, or the equipment maker's color, textured where forklifts and carts bump, with mounting holes masked.
- Welded or knock-down delivery
- Racks and workstations can ship welded or as flat-packed frames with hardware bagged, depending on the dock, the elevator, and who installs them. State which.
- Sets grouped by zone or line
- Guards labeled by conveyor section, racks by aisle, carts by cell, so the install crew or the integrator receives each area as one delivery.

Review the layout and the loads
We read the parts against the conveyor layout, rack elevations, or cart drawings, confirm loads, contact surfaces, finish, and delivery state, and flag anything the site dimensions leave open.
Fabricate and weld in sets
Cutting, forming, and welding to the released drawings, with frames checked for square and flat before finishing. Repeated runs of guards and brackets are made in matched batches.
Finish, assemble, and stage for the site
Powder coating, installed casters, handles, and hardware, welded or knock-down assembly, and packing labeled by zone. Deliveries follow the phases of the install.
