K-Display fabricates parts racks and industrial shelving to your storage design. We coordinate frames, shelf panels and support interfaces around the parts being stored and the way they are loaded, picked and replenished.
Storage shaped around the part
Useful storage begins with the supported part, not just the outside dimensions of a rack. Define its contact points, loading direction and retrieval space so shelf and frame details work with the actual handling method.
The highlighted shelf connects to the uprights through end supports. The frame, bracing, and footplates show the surrounding interfaces that belong in the rack layout.

Define the support and loading arrangement
- Local and shelf loads
- State the load at each support and per shelf. Point contacts and overhangs need to be visible in the approved design.
- Loading method
- Identify hand loading, cart transfer or mechanical handling and the space needed to insert and retrieve parts.
- Stability and connections
- Provide the anchorage, bay-connection or stacking design and required acceptance criteria.
- Part protection
- Mark sensitive contact surfaces and identify liners, stops or edge treatment to include in the supply.
Coordinate shelves with the frame
Build the rack as a connected set of support surfaces and attachment points.
Review the storage layout
Confirm parts, clear openings, loads and approved shelf or frame connections.
Fabricate the rack components
Cut, form and weld frames, shelves and supports to the released drawings.
Finish and prepare for installation
Supply the agreed welded or knock-down condition with specified finish and hardware.
Support the part where it needs support
A projecting boss or flange can become an unintended resting point on a flat shelf. In this example, two lined seats support the part at defined locations and leave the central projection clear. The useful view is the part seated in the rack, with its contact surfaces visible.
Include the liner in that view: its thickness changes where the part sits. Review the assembled contact against the approved support locations, including any separate stops needed to maintain orientation. Do not assume the liner alone maintains orientation.
