Metal Bins & Parts Containers

K-Display fabricates metal bins and parts containers around your contents and handling method. We coordinate formed bodies, dividers, edges and specified attachments so the container fits the parts, the storage location and the transfer step.

Protect the usable internal space

Internal dimensions, divider positions and retrieval access determine whether a bin works for its contents. Specify these alongside the outside envelope so folded edges and joining details do not consume space the parts need.

Open metal parts bin with folded top edges and an orange internal divider separating two compartments.

The divider separates the contents while its attachment and the folded rim occupy part of the interior. Define usable compartment dimensions alongside the outside bin size.

What we manufacture

Formed container bodies
Metal sides and bases with the specified joints, rims and edge treatment.
Dividers and compartments
Fixed or removable partition parts to separate and locate contents.
Contact and support features
Specified supports, feet and attachment plates for the handling arrangement.
Lids and access panels
Optional fabricated closures with the approved fit and fastening details.

Fit the contents and the transfer step

Internal clearance
Give the useful internal envelope and part orientation, including room to remove parts by hand or with the specified handling tool.
Edges and contact surfaces
Mark where operators or finished parts touch the bin and specify edge treatment, liners or protection.
Stacking and nesting
Identify whether bins stack loaded, nest empty or stay separate. Each arrangement needs its own approved support and clearance geometry.
Cleaning and drainage
Specify openings, seams and finish for the actual cleaning method; identify any special hygiene or material requirements for scope review.

Resolve body, divider and edge details together

The fabrication route follows the internal space and handling features that matter to the contents.

  1. Review the container layout

Confirm usable volume, compartments, contact surfaces and approved handling details.

  2. Form and join the parts

Produce the body and dividers to the specified rim, seam and attachment geometry.

  3. Finish for the supplied condition

Coordinate coating, liners or purchased hardware with the agreed assembly scope.

Plan for the empty return

Empty bins need a return arrangement as deliberate as their loaded layout. Nesting lets one body enter another; stacking keeps it above. In the nesting example, tapered walls provide clearance and formed stops rest on the lower rim to limit how far the upper bin descends.

The stop position leaves the rims separated for lift-out. Check that separation with the intended handling method, and include dividers, liners and attachments in the nesting review. A bin that nests as an empty shell may no longer nest with those features fitted.

Two empty tapered metal bins nested shallowly, with orange formed stops resting on the lower rim. An enlarged side detail shows the stop contact and separated rims; an upward arrow indicates lift-out.
