Control Panel Enclosures

K-Display fabricates control panel enclosures around your component layout, mounting requirements, and service access. Bodies, doors, mounting panels, hardware, and finish come together to give your panel-building team the enclosure assembly specified in your drawings.

An enclosure that fits the electrical assembly

Control cabinet fit starts inside the enclosure. Component depth, wiring space, the removable mounting panel, and door-mounted devices all affect the body and closure geometry.

We coordinate the fabricated parts and specified hardware as one package, from an empty finished shell to an enclosure with mounting panels and closure hardware installed. Define electrical installation and evaluation separately in the project scope.

The open door shows the hinges, latch, and enclosure return that must work together when the door closes. Internal mounting-panel and electrical layouts are defined separately by the project drawings.

What we manufacture

Enclosure bodies
Formed shells and frame returns with the mounting and entry features shown on your drawings.
Doors and removable covers
Access parts with specified hinge, latch, device, and gasket interfaces.
Mounting panels and brackets
Internal plates and supports positioned around your component arrangement and assembly sequence.
Hardware-ready assemblies
Specified inserts, studs, hinges, and latches installed to the agreed bill of materials.

The interfaces that determine fit

Component and cable clearance
Include device depth, wire-duct space, cable entries, and door-mounted equipment. The closed door and mounting panel must both clear the installed components.
Door closure and sealing
Gasket lands, hinge position, latch engagement, and penetrations work together. Send the intended environmental requirement and accessory selections so the build can be reviewed against them.
Panel removal and service access
Show how the mounting panel enters and leaves the cabinet, the required door swing, and fasteners that must remain accessible after installation.
Finish and bonding provisions
Mark specified bonding points, masked contact areas, threads, and close-fitting features. Coating and installed hardware need to suit the finished assembly.

Coordinate the shell, closure, and finish

The enclosure passes through connected fabrication, hardware installation, and finishing with its mating features kept in view.

  1. Review the complete enclosure

Check body, door, back-panel, and purchased-hardware drawings together before releasing individual parts.

  2. Fabricate the mating features

Cut and form the shell, doors, and mounting parts; coordinate joining and hardware installation around their assembly sequence.

  3. Finish for panel assembly

Apply the specified finish and masking, then assemble and inspect the agreed enclosure build state.

Check the mounting-panel removal path

A mounting panel can fit inside the cabinet yet be difficult to remove once populated. The opening returns reduce the passage available, while components and wire ducts add depth to the plate. Check the complete assembly through that opening, with the door in its removal position.

In the assembly review, follow the panel from its rear mounting points until it clears the enclosure. Account for releasing the mounting hardware and for any connections that cross from the panel to the cabinet. A bare-plate fit check cannot show these constraints.
