How we contribute
A control system integrator designs the panel, programs the controls, and installs the cell. The metal around that work is bought: the cabinet and its subpanel, the operator station, the guard panels around the robot, and the brackets that hold valves, sensors, and cable duct to the line. Each project is different, so the metal is drawn per job and ordered in small quantities.
K-Display fabricates those parts to your drawings and takes responsibility for the cut, formed, and welded metal, the powder coat, the installed hinges, latches, and studs, and the bare subpanel. Component selection, wiring, listing, and commissioning stay with your shop.
What we make for industrial automation
Typical parts we fabricate to a panel shop's or integrator's print.
- Control panel enclosures and subpanels
- Wall-mount and freestanding cabinets with the door cutouts for your disconnect, HMI, and pilot devices, plus a flat subpanel drilled or left blank to your layout. Sized to the panel drawing, not to a catalog.
- HMI consoles and pushbutton stations
- Pedestal consoles, sloped-face stations, and pendant boxes cut for the screen and pushbuttons you have selected, with the conduit or cord entry where the drop lands.
- Robot cell guard panels and posts
- Framed sheet or perforated guard panels, posts, base plates, and interlocked access doors built to the cell layout your safeguarding design fixes.
- Junction and terminal boxes
- Small boxes for field devices and remote I/O with the entry pattern and DIN-rail mounting plate your drawing shows, in quantity per cell.
- Valve manifold, sensor, and cable brackets
- Formed brackets for pneumatic manifolds, photo-eyes, light curtains, and wire duct, made in matched sets so a whole line installs from one kit.
- Conveyor and machine mounting brackets
- Plates and brackets that tie purchased conveyor sections, drives, and stands to the floor and to each other at the positions the layout drawing sets.

- Enclosures your listing accepts
- Panels built under UL 508A carry an enclosure type chosen by the panel shop. State the required type, gasket, door seal, and bonding stud locations and we fabricate the cabinet and subpanel to that specification. K-Display supplies the metal; the listing is yours.
- Cutouts held to the device drawing
- HMI bezels, disconnect handles, and pushbutton holes must land within the device maker's cutout tolerance. Send the cutout drawing or the device part number and we cut to it.
- Guarding to your cell risk assessment
- Robot cell safeguarding to the robot safety standard your risk assessment names is the integrator's design responsibility. Give us the panel heights, mesh or solid faces, post spacing, and interlock positions from your risk assessment and we build the guard set.
- Finish that matches the panel shop standard
- Powder coat in the gray, white, or black your shop uses, or a customer color, with the subpanel left bare for your shop to plate or paint and the ground points masked.
- Per-project quantities on the integrator's schedule
- One cabinet, four stations, twelve brackets. Each project has its own drawings and dates. We quote and run short sets and repeat them when the next line ships.

Review the panel and cell drawings
We check enclosure, subpanel, station, and guard drawings together, confirm cutouts against device data, and confirm the enclosure type, finish, and hardware your project calls for.
Fabricate the set
Laser cutting, punching, forming, and welding to the released drawings. Enclosure doors and bodies are fitted before finishing so gaskets and latches close as drawn.
Finish and ship to the shop or the site
Powder coating, installed hinges, latches, and studs, subpanels packed with their cabinets, and guard sets labeled by cell position. Delivery is timed to your panel build or install date.
